Steelhorse was both the first masterclass expansion to Rail Raiders Infinite, and the first in that game to be a hero.

Candy's Outfit: Both the artwork and sculpt are of Cowpuncher Candy riding a hoverbike and holding a blaster. The bike has an average 2R ARM, and gives her both Surefoot and an extra Move, while the blaster has a range of 6.

Other than those two, her stats are no different than the other Candy's averages.

Actions

Ride on Through is an AP2 Lance: 6 attack that has Charge. This action is perfectly complimented by her Surefoot.

Lead Storm is her signature action. For one equipped card, she can make up to three attacks while moving during her turn.

Vs Zenyo and Benkei's attacks: While Steelhorse's Augment is similar to Storm of Arrows and Blind Onslaught, the latter two deal self inflicted wounds to the user. Additionally, both Zenyo and Benkei can lose any additional attacks if there are no other legal targets, whereas Steelhorse can move around if she needs to make another attack. The big disadvantage between Lead Storm and the other two is that it can only be used once.

Potions

Trucker Brew gives the drinker +1 Move in excange for self damage. LS can be upgraded to allow four missile attacks, while the other heroes can move an extra space if needed.

Strategy:

Candy's purpose on the bike is very straightfoward: hit-and-run. Both actions allow her to hit multiple enemies, whilst moving away from them to where they cannot reach her.

Equipment/Buffs:

While she can increase her STR and DEX, it is best that you focus on making both actions more effective. +1 Movement also helps, as she can make four shots from Leadstorm without having to rely on Trucker Brew. Just be sure that card is not the only card equipped to her when attempting it.

Limitations:

In addition to Lead Storm's once per activation limit, the attacks must be basic, and they cannot be used with Ride on Through(Lance places the model instead of moving).

Even then, moderation is required when using her. Abusing both Lead Storm and Ride on Through will not only put her far away from the rest of the party, but can leave her to even fight a powerful Super without any equipment at all.

Party

Candy's cowgirl outfit makes her more suitable for run-and-gun attacks. She can easily take care of multiple enemies, but may need some assistance from the other heroes, particularly those with Compel or better AoE in case she does not defeat them all.

For Move, Thundervale Huntress from the Forgotten King is an excellent choice; her Distilled Stampede allows movement which, if Candy drank on her turn, can give her up to five free attacks. If you don't have the starter, the Star Guild Rock Singer's Starlight Elixir can give her four attacks and can heal any wounds she has(to give her five, you'll also need something that increases her Move).
